Getting Here

By Road

Follow the Pacific Highway for approximately 4.5 hours north of Sydney and approximately 6.5 hours south of Brisbane. Port Macquarie is 10km off the Pacific Highway on the coast at the mouth of the Hastings River. The highway is progressively being upgraded to a dual highway/freeway between Sydney and Brisbane.

Travellers from Tamworth and the central west can travel via the Oxley Highway through Walcha or via Gloucester.

Greyhound coaches also operate from Sydney to Port Macquarie. Search for times on their website.

By Air

The closest railway station is located at Wauchope, approximately 22km from Port Macquarie. Limited bus services and taxis depart from Wauchope station. Details about the station can be found here at the Transport NSW website.
