Resort Policies

Animals

It is Resort policy that no person whilst at the Resort shall bring or keep any animals at the resort with the exception of Registered Assistance Dogs.

Booking & Payment Policy

The first night’s accommodation is payable upon booking. The balance is due upon check-in to the Resort. We accept Eftpos, Mastercard, Visa, DinersClub and Amex.

A credit card service fee of 1.1% is charged on all credit card payments.

A refundable security deposit of $100 is required in addition to full payment on check-in. Guests may leave a pre-authorisation on their credit card which will be released back to their account within 10 days of departure or leave a cash deposit refundable on departure.

Additional charges may be incurred if the apartment is left in a very untidy/unclean condition or if damages are found.

Cancellation Policy

All cancelled bookings will incur a fee of 15% of the first nights’ accommodation unless the booking is cancelled within 24hours prior to arrival where the first nights’ accommodation will be retained. There will be no refunds for early departures.

Room Limits

Strict room limits (including children) apply as determined by NSW Fire and Safety Regulations.

Room Only Rates

The Resort offers great rates for stays of 2 nights or more. To maintain great value, rates do not include daily housekeeping service. Apartments will be serviced on a weekday for bookings of 8 night or more.

Schoolies

Port Pacific Resort does not accept bookings for schoolies.

Smoking

For the health and comfort of others, Port Pacific Resort is a totally non-smoking Resort. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere within the building perimeter, including all parts of all apartments, balconies, levels 9, 2, and 1 outdoor areas.

Fines will apply for smoking anywhere in the Resort.

Innkeeper's Act 1968

UNDER the Innkeepers Act 1968, Port Pacific Resort may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the Resort or any servant in its employ. This liability however-

(a) extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the Resort;

(b) is limited to one hundred dollars to anyone guest except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for a deposit, for safe custody;

This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to these premises or that liability thereunder attaches in any particular case.
